Working on behalf of main contractors Osborne Property Services and ALMO Ascham Homes, we replaced 1990s PVC-U windows in 221 maisonettes and flats managed by the Sams and Acacia TMO.
We delivered a 98.6% resident satisfaction rating and an estimated £12,300 of total annual savings on fuel bills (equivalent to 63.12 tonnes of CO2 and 16.72 tonnes of carbon).
This project is an excellent example of how committed we are to partnering with our customers. Once the contract had been awarded, we supported Osborne by attending a TMO meeting to present samples of the REHAU windows to residents and to explain the installation process, and, once it was complete, we even helped the TMO members to build raised planters for the communal gardens on the estate.
The project was completed over a three month period and, in line with our standard procedure, it was managed by a single in house project manager, Rob Petre, to ensure that contractors had one easy point of contact and that, at every stage, work was fully coordinated.
The standard of workmanship on the project was also independently endorsed by the BBA who carried out a site inspection during the work and passed the installation with no observations recorded.
